Privacy policy

The short version

Jigsaw Mania does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting.

On your device

Your puzzle progress, settings, achievements and hint balance are stored only on your device. If you turn a photo into a puzzle, the app reads the photo you pick, keeps a cropped copy inside the app, and never uploads it. You can delete these copies by deleting the puzzle in My Puzzles, or by uninstalling the app.

Backups

If you export a backup, the app creates a file containing your progress and gives it to the share sheet; where it goes is your choice. Your device's own backup (iCloud or Android backup) may include the app's data, depending on your device settings.

Network

The app works offline. If extra picture packs are offered, the app downloads them from our server. These requests contain no personal data beyond what any web request carries, such as your IP address, which we do not log or link to you.

Permissions

• Photos: accessed only through the system photo picker when you choose to make a puzzle from your own photo. The app never sees the rest of your library.
• Internet: used only for optional picture pack downloads.
• Vibration: for the gentle haptics when a piece snaps into place. You can turn these off in Settings.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If we add features that change this, for example advertising, we will update this policy and the app's store privacy details before releasing them. The effective date at the top tells you when this page last changed.
